Description : Large shrubs, branchlets tomentose. Leaves to 13 x 9 cm, broadly ovate to rounded, scabrous above, densely ferrugenous, tomentose below, base truncate to subcordate, margins obscurely lobed at apex; petiole to 2 cm; stipules to 1 cm, lanceolate. Flowers many, white, turns to yellow, peduncles 0.5 cm, stout, tomentose; sepals 1.5 cm, oblong-lanceolate, pubescent; petals 5 mm, tomentose; stamens unequal; torus 1.5 mm; ovary 4 mm, tomentose; style 1 cm; stigma capitate.
 
Curated Medicinal Use / Activity : It is used as a remedy for acne and a root decoction as a remedy for fever.
