| Description : | Subshrubs, branches pubescent. Leaves to 7 x 4 cm, ovate, cuneate, membranous, acuminate at apex, base rounded, sparsely puberulus, margin ciliate; petiole to 5 cm. Spikes axillary, to 2 cm; sepals 4, pubescent; female flowers crowded below; bracts 5 mm, campanulate, pubescent ca. 12-15 toothed, ciliate, ovary 1.5 mm; male flowers on the upper half minute. Capsule 3 mm across, smooth. | |||||||||||||
